"ICE" How The Grinch Stole Christmas

while we were in Texas visiting family we went to the Ice exhibit at the Gaylor Texan Resort in Grapevine with Robert's sisters and their families. this year they did "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"
Before we went in they gave us these big, thick, blue coats to wear because the room we went into was like walking into a freezer.
even the kids had to wear the coats. Kaylee and Kimie already had sweaters and clothes on before they even put the blue coats on. So they looked funny with these big huge coats on and sitting in troller's with there arms sticking out.

Yep that's all ice!

Daddy and Kaylee

Yep still looking at ice

I think the kids had it good just sitting there and being pushed around

mmm roast beast

mmm "I'm getting a sweet tooth"
save me some
Don't leave yet you guys!! Don't you want to go down the Big Ice Slide?

At the end of the Ice exhibit was two Ice slides for people to slide down on. On the right side was for older kids and adults and the left was for younger kids like Kimie. Robert asked Kaylee if she wanted to go down the slide which she said "no" so he asked Kimie and of course she wanted to and already starting trying to get out of the troller because she couldn't wait and daddy was to slow getting her and that big blue coat out (Kimie just loves going down slides!!). Robert took her and they went up the stairs to go down while I asked a family member to watch kaylee so I could take a picture but after I found someone I turned around and she had already gone down the slide, so I told Robert to go take her again so I could take a picture and of course Kimie wouldn't complain about that!!

So they went back up the stairs to go down but this time she got stuck and the guy at the bottom had to get a big long hook to help pull her down my poor baby

there was so many people in the way and they wouldn't move so I could get a good picture!

Here she is slowly sliding down............ Don't worry Kimie your almost there!

Yeah you made it my baby girl!
It was so cute see her on the slide slowly coming down but the only thing I didn't like about that situation was that the people still didn't move so I could get her quick enough!!! luckliy Kimie is still small and she doesn't remember it!

"Visiting Family in Texas and Utah"

This year for Christmas, we had three Christmas. We had one a home and then a few days later he drove up to Grand Prairie, Texas to spend time with the Joseph side of the family. Robert's SisterChristi and her family drove down from Wisconsin to suprise Tiffini's kids for Christmas so we drove up so we could see everybody! We also had a get togther with Robert's step sister and her family as well as his step brother and his family. We enjoyed seeing everybody. We spent New Years Eve there and then drove out on New Years day up to Roy, Utah to visit with the Kinsford side. We also did a post Christmas Family get together up there too.

Will post pictures later.......................

"Twas the Night Before Christmas"

Setting out a snack for Santa
Kaylee setting out cookies and Milk

And Kimie doing the note for Santa

With help from Mama

"A Tinker bell Christmas"

from Santa they got tinkerbell bedroom stuff to go with their toddler beds! yep, we gradates kimberly to a toddler bed!

"The Loot"

We did something different this year, instead of wrapping presents and putting tags on them, I decided to color code presents this year. We bought Tinkerbell Christmas paper and gave one color to kaylee and the other color to Kimberly. that worked so much better! Because we just had tell the kids to get there color present.

Kaylee's color was purple
&
Kimme was blue

"Tinker Bell Flashlights"

Kaylee- "TinkerBell flashlights!!"

Kimberly- "I wonder if I have one?"
Kaylee Daddy turn light on?

there were different design caps that went on top the flashlights so you can see different designs on the wall
"Fencing Swords"

We got the kids fencing swords because I got tired of them digging in my cupboards and closets for things like clothes hangers, for them to fence with along with their movie "The Three Musketeers" (Mickey-Donald-Goofy version)

"Princess Girls"
these are from a Princess Dress Up Kit. In the kit there were 3 dresses (snow white, sleeping beauty and cinderella) a pair of shoes, crown and some jewerly. They love them so much they stayed in them all day and slept in them that night! which was cool because I usually have to fight them tooth and nail on having them watch the princess movies which they would rather not watch but since they got these dresses they are starting to get to want to watch the movies.
